Her father, Seijuro, and mother, Hitomi, are both dead. Seiki traveled to Gaea in order to search for her brother, Seiji, who had been missing for a year.

Practical, with a dry sense of humor, Seiki would rather be alone than with people. Graceful while fighting, she's also hopelessly graceless while attempting menial tasks.

His father, Seijuro, and mother, Hitomi, are both dead. Enjoys being around people and going to parties.

Seiji is exceptionally brilliant in sciences and can play any sport well. He was very close to his sister, Seiki, until he lost a pivotal sword fight to her. He disappeared soon after.

The Serpent's Tooth, a lightweight, large, and flexible sword from Calder's homeland, Daedelas.

ETC:
Trained with Balgus Ganesha when they were younger. Upon discovering Balgus' death, Calder offered his services to Van Fanel.

He is currently the Chief Samurai of Van's guard.

His past is very mysterious, and Calder rarely speaks of it.

Raden is an old collegue of Meiden Fassa, Dryden's father. A former citizen of Asturia, Raden threw in his lot with Fanelia, seeing the rebuilding of the agricultural country as a challenge. It was also an opportunity to leave Meiden's shadow, as Meiden had the ear of King Aston.

Most of Raden's family was lost during the Great War. He has one sister who survived and is currently living in Basram.

Raden also took in a catboy named Sosa, and named Sosa his ward.

Idiots, energist weapons

ETC:
Lost both mother and father during the Great War to the ill-fated energist bomb experiment in the last battle. His only sister, Lady Jessa, is the only family member surviving.

Single, young, handsome, and powerful, Kerr is sought after by many women seeking to raise their status.

He spends most of his free time running from them.

Although Lady Jessa has been labeled a "shrew", "cold", and "manipulative", only her brother is aware of the fact that Jessa pretends to be this way in order to keep people away who may wish harm to her remaining family member.

Kerr is also the only one who knows that Jessa is seriously ill and may be dying from consumption (tuberculosis).

Having mysteriously arrived on Gaea, unceremoniously dumped on a poisonous bush, losing his memory, nursed back to health by the Great Swordmaster, Musalen, Loki was named savior of the Zaibach refugees decreed by Musalen and seen in a prophecy.

Enraged by the destitute conditions the refugees live in, Loki agreed to front a rebellion, so the people who suffered could take back what is rightfully theirs.

He dreams every night of a woman with green eyes but can't remember her name. He searches for her in hopes of discovering his past and his lost name.

Very few people are aware that Musalen is woman. Although she has gained status as one of the three Great Swordmasters, few have met her, so many rumors about her exist.

She says nothing about her past which is riddled with many painful memories and a secret she dare not share with anyone.
